Characteristics: A yellowy-orange liquid; A faint blue fluorescence and a fresh spicy woody odor.

Principal Constituents: Mainly tumerone, with ar-tumerone, alantones, zingiberene, cineol, borneol, sabinene and phellandrene, among others. 

Blends Well With: Cananga, labdanum, elecampane, ginger, orris, cassie, clary sage, and mimosa.

Safety Data: Tumerone is moderately toxic and irritant in high concentrations. Possible sensitization problems. Must be used in moderation and with care for a fairly limited period.
